Xyp is a mid size loudspeaker designed with the same attention to detail as the renowned Leema Xen. Xyp clearly demonstrates the performance advantages of Leema's uncompromising approach, even when applied to a more affordable design.
The massively oversized computer optimised port, correctly sited on the front baffle, is critically aligned to the bass driver allowing superb bass timing, pitch and punch without compromising extension.
The cabinet is constructed entirely of 25mm medite, which is damped to ensure it makes no contribution of it's own. Blur and smear are completely eliminated, allowing the speaker to cast a musical image across a room with tangible height and depth and stunning accuracy.
The Leema Xyp retains the same high technology tweeter featured in Xen and Xavier, ensuring well controlled, sparkling high frequency extension to over 30 Kilohertz, without the harsh unnatural quality which typify metal dome tweeters.
The bass driver features a magnetically shielded magnet structure and a doped cone, ensuring superb mid range detail and neutrality. Voices and acoustic instruments are reproduced with incredible yet unforced realism.
